Monkhide Traditional Mead

A traditionally made, Monkhide Herefordshire mead. Cold-fermented to retain all the flavours and aromas of the original honey, this medium-sweet mead tastes how mead tasted 1000 years ago. It is made using honey from our own bees. The honey is collected from the hives in our orchard in May, and is apple and pear blossom honey. Everything growing in our Monkhide orchard and garden are planted to keep our bees happy.The richness and complexity of honey flavours come through in the finished mead. We do not add any flavourings, colourings, herbs or fruit so that that the beautiful, natural flavours in the honey come through in every savoured sip.

This drink is free from artificial flavours and colours and is vegetarian friendly. It is packaged in a recyclable 350ml glass bottle.
